Fantastic opportunities available at both the Georgian House and our beach bar, The Moorings, on the beautful island of Alderney in the Channel Islands!

We are currently recruiting for a number of various roles - from front of house to kitchen.

Join our fun-loving, supportive and passionate team of hospitality professionals, somewhere a little bit different...

Our ethos is simple - a friendly face with a smile, delicious, locally sourced seasonal food, attentive service and to support to local community.

The Georgian House

Situated on the cobbled streets of St Anne, the family-run Georgian House comprises of a traditional pub, contemporary restaurant, private dining room, secluded garden and four charming rooms. On the magical island of Alderney.

Serving locally sourced and foraged ingredients where possible, expertly made cocktails, coffees and offering an extensive wine list and proper ales.

With evenings of live music and entertainment, you'll get the chance to work with an experienced and energetic team, with a passion for high quality service, the island, and of course... food!

The Moorings

The Moorings is a relaxed beach bar and restaurant, positioned just a stone's throw from the stunning Braye beach.

With its direct access to the beach, rolling in for lazy lunches in the sun, dining with the family or being sun-downers at sunset couldn't be easier!

Our large terrace enjoys views over the turquoise waters of the bay, and when the sun isn't shining, the newly renovated bar is a warm and welcoming place to eat, drink and be merry!

Often hosting live music on the terrace, to accompany post beach refreshments, as well as comedy evenings and late night djs, The Moorings is a lively place on Alderney!

Serving stone-baked pizzas, hearty breakfasts and local produce - it offers a more relaxed and casual dining atmosphere.

The Victoria

Situated on the streets of St Anne, our six bedroom guest house is just a few steps down from the Georgian House. A welcoming and relaxing place for guests to rest during their stay on the island.

Working with us:

We're looking, as always, to build a superb team with bucket loads of experience and enthusiasm and with a passion for great food and service!

We need a team that will work well together under pressure, with exceptionally high standards and good work ethic; bringing with them energy and knowledge, and most importantly knowing how to have fun and to enjoy their surroundings!

We strive to exceed our customer's expectations in all areas and our aim is to produce a menu that makes the most of the fantastic local produce the island has to offer, the seafood is on tap and is second to none, not to mention the local dairy, beef and pork farm and home-grown vegetables. We also pride our selves on our attentive, friendly and welcoming service.

We look after our team, and work hard together, as well as enjoying everything that beautiful Alderney has to offer (see island info). We provide a high standard of staff accommodation, a competitive salary and great perks.

The Island:

Alderney is the most northerly Channel Island and is only 9 miles from France. It is 3 miles by 1.5 miles, steeped in history and spectacular scenery.

It is lined with dramatic cliffs and beautiful low-lying beaches with white sands.  If you're looking to escape and try something a little different this summer, then you won't be disappointed.

It's a great place to save money, away from too many temptations, even though there is plenty to do on the island; beaches, fishing, tennis, squash, golf, paddle boarding, boat trips, beach BBQs, cycling, plentiful restaurants, pubs, camping, exploring and tranquillity... for somewhere so small, not to mention the 'bunker parties' (all night raves in the old fortifications) and the infamous Alderney Week, as well as various events and festibvals that visit the island.

Alderney has something quite unique with its quirky charm and character welcoming people with a laid back and carefree attitude - that seems to have escaped most nowadays!! http://www.visitalderney.com/
